C. Nicole’s Closet, founded by Chermaine “C. Nicole” Marshall, was created from a place of lived experience and compassion. As a domestic violence survivor who had to flee multiple times with nothing but the clothes on her back, she understood the deep loss and vulnerability that come with starting over.

Today, C. Nicole’s Closet provides free clothing and essentials to domestic violence survivors, individuals experiencing homelessness, and sexual assault victims. Every outfit represents more than fabric — it’s a symbol of dignity, confidence, and a fresh start.
